New Zealand Refrigeration Services have been in business since 1999. Starting as a one man band working from home.
In the early days Colin did a variety of work, with a lot being refrigeration at Kapiti Cheeses in Paraparaumu since then the business does a variety of Domestic and Commercial Heat Pumps and Commercial refrigeration installing and servicing throughout the greater Manawatu (Manawatu and beyond).
We take pride in supplying high quality brands Mitsubishi and Fujitsu - leaders in the Heat Pump industry.
We believe in quality customer service and a high standard of workmanship. We currently employ 4 staff, 3 technicians and 1 Office Staff.
Colin Bary – Owner/Director/Contracts Manager
Colin has been in the heating and refrigeration industry for 30 years. He started his apprenticeship in 1988 serving his time under David Judd of Judd refrigeration. He decided in 1998 that running his own business was the next step in his career. With that idea New Zealand Refrigeration Services was born.
Within a year Colins life took on another adventure, he got married and started a family 2 years later. Early starts and late finishes Colin was building a life for his family and building a business with loyal customers he still works with today.
Colin worked as a one man band until 2003 when he started to take on staff and later started working from a building in Rangitikei Street. In 2011 Colin moved his business to where it currently sits today in Princess Street Currently employing 6 staff 3 technicians and 3 Office Staff.
Colin has a likeable nature and always takes the time to listen to his customers needs and come up with design options and solutions . Colin has a genuine belief in outstanding customer service and is high expectation on workmanship.
